Welcome to the Regional Aviation Safety Oversight System (RASOS), an organisation formed by the members of the Association of Civil Aviation Authorities of the Caribbean (ACAAC). The RASOS is the first multilateral alliance of its kind in Caribbean aviation and aims at facilitating multifaceted and widespread problem solving to issues of safety oversight and infrastructure.

Safety Comment

FOD refers to Foreign Object Debris, including garbage, baggage and construction material, that should not be present on the airside of an aerodrome. When this debris becomes involved with an aircraft or person working or present, it can result in Foreign Object Damage or FOD.
