RASOS Compliance Enforcement Course
(May-03-07)

Transport Canada Enforcement Specialists will conduct a Regulatory Safety Oversight Compliance and Enforcement Course at the TTCAA Training Center in Piarco, Trinidad, June 19-22 2007. Thirty-five persons from RASOS Member CAAs are expected to complete the course. This training is intended to equip aviation safety inspectors with the knowledge and skills to conduct regulatory investigations preceding possible enforcement action when safety breaches are discovered, and to instruct how appropriate sanctions may be chosen and recommended. Compliance and Enforcement training is part of the standard professional training for RASOS Members aviation safey inspectors and the activity is an infrequent but very important part of a safety oversight inspector's duties in making sure the aviation system in our region is as safe as possible.
